FAQs since the July 1 Launch

For Residents:

I do not see the “Study Schedule”?

To support every Program Director, we are taking the administrative step to assign everyone to the 2024-2026 Study Cycle so it’s easier to get started.

I do not see any assignments under the “Assignments” tab.

Assignments are an optional tool that a Program Director can utilize, if needed.

For Program Directors:

How do I insert breaks into the Study Schedule?

We are encouraging Program Directors to set their Study Schedule in the order of the Topic Weeks preferred, ignoring all breaks, and to unlock “all quizzes.” They should then inform their residents when they can take a break. The Study Schedule Quizzes never close, so the residents can go back to past Topic Weeks after their break is over.

How do I unlock the Quizzes? How do I arrange my Study Schedule when the first two weeks are locked?

The solution is as follows: Click on Study Schedule -->Edit Schedule --> Unlock all quizzes --> Save and Return. The quizzes are now unlocked and so are the Topic Weeks.

What do I use the Assignments feature for?

This feature can be used in the following ways.

  • To create additional assignment for your residents (e.g., read an article, take an additional quiz you build, watch a video you add, come to conference prepared to discuss x, y, z., etc.)
  • To create “Break Weeks” and module “Double-up Weeks” clearer. For example, a Program Director could create an “Assignment” that says – “For the weeks of July 14 through July 21, please complete the Allergy Testing and Chronic Rhinosinusitis modules and their associated “Weekly Quiz.”
